" Hi Allyson - I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you have done for my daughter.
I admired your calm and supportive personality from the moment I met you and knew that it would be a privilege to have my daughter benefit from your support. You provide a wonderful environment for women to achieve, and I have been truly impressed. I have really appreciated the way you took my daughter under your wing and did your best to lead her in a good direction through all of her troubles, even when she was no longer participating in your program.
You are a truly remarkable woman who has positively effected my daughter's and my life. I know that she has a long road ahead of her, but your support and encouragement has certainly provided her a positive stepping stone on her journey of recovery.
Thank you again for all that you have done for her."

" At the age of 19 I had the privilege of going to rehab and beginning the journey of recovery. While there I learned a lot about starting a new way of life and being clean and sober. When getting ready to discharge, the treatment center recommended a halfway house, and I immediately shot that idea down. I did it my way and decided to go back to where I was living and went to school. After about 6 months I relapsed and went back to treatment. At that point I was ready to make big changes and finally take suggestions. Although I was still a little hesitant, I finally agreed to go to a halfway house, and thankfully my higher power put Allyson and The Lilly Pad in my path."
" Treatment was a great experience and helped me a lot, but it was The Lilly Pad that built the foundation of which I am living my life upon. As soon as I walked into the house, I knew it was the place that I would choose to live and further my recovery. I thought that I would stay for the minimum time just to please the people around me, but with each passing day I fell in love even more with what I fought so hard against at the beginning. The Lilly Pad felt like home."
"
While there, I learned life skills that I was greatly lacking and how to live clean and sober. Allyson taught me how to be an adult and be responsible and be held accountable. Not only did I feel safe and a part of, I was educated on what it truly meant to start a new way of life. The plan of leaving as soon as I could, quickly turned into gladly staying for 9 months. "
"
From big book studies and meditation to speakers and house meetings, I learned those tools and life skills that got me to where I am today. The love, support and experience, strength and hope that Allyson and The Lilly Pad provided truly change my life. The friendships and established relationships with the other girls in the house is something I still cherish today. We supported one another and were able to watch the growth made on a daily basis. The times of struggle were eased because of Allyson and the woman at The Lilly Pad. There was always safety and love that I knew I could rely on, and the reassurance that I wasn’t alone. My life changed."
"
I am still clean and sober and because of that I am back in school, working and able to be a true friend, a better daughter and sister, and hopefully and living example of how recovery changed my life. I am eternally grateful for the Lilly Pad, and I will never forget the gift I received."

" At age 23 I left a great treatment center that taught me many life skills, but I was still very scared to step out into the real world and live life on life's terms. Once I came to the Lilly Pad I learned how to cope with all the things life throws at me with the help from all the girls at the house. I learned more from my mentor and the girls at the house then I could ever have learned in treatment. I am forever grateful and I consider the Lilly Pad my second home."

" The Lilly Pad saved my life. This house turned my life around. Before coming to the Lilly Pad, I was a 29 year old bartender who was slowly killing herself. My liver enzymes were out of control, I was diagnosed with alcoholic hepatitis, and I was at stage 3 Cirrhosis of the liver. I was rescued when I couldn't rescue myself. The guidance from the women and the lessons learned in this house changed my life in ways I never thought manageable. I not only found support and wisdom from these women, but I have formed a bond with them that is real and unbreakable. These women became my family when I thought i didn't have one. The Lilly Pad helped mold me into the person I have become. Today, I am a happy and healthy 30 year old living one day at a time. I will never forget the past because my past is what got me where I am today, and for that... I am grateful."

" Dear Allyson, I believe that during our lives people cross our paths for a reason. I knew when I met you that guardian angels had placed you in my path for a purpose. You would help my child when I needed it the most. I will forever be grateful, and will always appreciate your kindness and mentoring you have shown my daughter. I know when my daughter looks back at this experience she too will be grateful and realize how fortunate she was to have found The Lilly Pad. My hope is that she will find it in her heart to help others when they need it, as you did. Someday when we visit my daughter, let's get together and have lunch or dinner. Until then, may God continue to bless you and The Lilly Pad, and all those who are lucky to be there."
